The Telecommunication Union of the Slovak Republic (TÚSR) reminds that, in addition to multinational operators, domestic operators also operate on the market, which often provide services at the local or regional level and are well aware of local conditions and needs. Those who decide to choose domestic operators will not only receive attractive services at reasonable prices, but also support domestic entrepreneurs and the development of the locality in which they live. TÚSR has selected several offers from domestic operators that illustrate the possibilities in selected locations in the Slovak Republic.
In eastern Slovakia with 1 Gbit/s internet and lots of discounts
On the optical network of the company Alternet in Košice and its surroundings, in the current offer, interested parties can get Internet with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s (both ways) for a long-term lowest price in the area of 16.90 €, valid for the entire duration of the contract. The Alternet connection also includes a separate public IPv4 address, network firewall protection and DNS protection, which blocks unwanted malicious content. Comfortable IP television with archive and recording starts from 8.70 € per month. In Medzev, Jasov and the surrounding area, DVB-C cable television with more than 50 popular programs is also available on the Alternet optical network for only 6.90 € per month.

In Liptov you can watch more than 30 TV programs for free
In the network of the telecommunications operator Fibris in Liptov, you can surf the Internet at speeds of up to 1000 Mbit/s without applying FUP. Internet connection prices start from 10 € and with the fibris.tv FREE package you can watch more than 30 programs for free. You can choose from a range of other TV packages for this package, the prices of which start from 7 €. During the Christmas promotion, a new customer can get a television service (IPTV) for up to 6 months for free.
In Kysuce, Bytča and Žilina, when switching from a competitor, internet is free for half a year
New customers of Bluenet (HMZ Rádiokomunikácie) have internet at half price from November to the end of January 2025. When switching from a competitor, the customer has free internet for half a year.
In the west with high speeds and a wide range of discounts
In Bratislava and the surrounding area, when switching from another telecommunications operator to ISPER, you can use the internet with speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s, TV2GO television with archive or the internet + television package for 6 months free of charge. If, based on your recommendation, ISPER connects a new customer, you will receive a reward of 100% discount on the monthly fee for 3 months. Until January 5, 2025, users of the basic TV package TV2GO can watch the following TV stations for free as a gift: Filmbox Extra HD, Filmbox Premium HD, Film Europe Channel HD and Film Europe + HD.
In the Topoľčany district and its surroundings, new customers of the telecommunications operator Wircom can use internet services for the first 3 months for free.
